Player/Coach's Oath
The four basic principles in the oath are:
None of these principles require ability. Everyone, regardless of how fast they are or how big they are, can do these four things. If we get everybody abiding by these four principles, we'll be an awfully difficult team to beat.
Goals of Wausau West Football
The four basic principles in the oath are:
- I will Hustle
- I will display courage
- I will know what to do
- I will care about my teammates

Goals of Wausau West Football
- Develop a strong self - image in our players and our school.
- Develop players to be people that will help our society.
- Make sure our players will improve as players, students and people in the four years they are in our program.
- Increase interest in Wausau West Sports and our school.
- Win football games!
- Recruit the best student athletes we can from our grade schools and middle schools.
